more about us
About Us
Since 2016, Team 5827 has been involved with FIRST robotics to teach students STEM concepts -- from strategy, coding, CAD, mechanical design, business planning, to marketing and finance.
Our Mission
We empower students to build the best robot and FRC team possible, providing guidance and mentorship along the way.
Get Involved
Whether you contribute financially or help as a mentor, you can make a real difference to our team.

Our Club
We are Code Purple (Team 5827), an FRC robotics club from Lake Washington High School and other local schools, based in Kirkland, Washington. Our club was started in 2011 as a VRC team, and switched from Vex to FRC for the 2016 season for a greater challenge and more opportunities to enhance our STEM principles. We found it to be an amazing opportunity to both learn and grow. Starting in January of every year, the FRC season begins again and our club members build a robot to compete in the current year’s FRC challenge. Running a team is expensive, so donations are always welcome!
While we didn’t get to compete directly with other teams in 2020 due to COVID, we are excited about participating in the upcoming 2021 season! For more details, check out the FIRST site here.
